“It’s a long story that can’t be told by phone. Just come quickly, Mrs. Martin.” Paul hung up quickly after he was done speaking. 

Skylar turned to Steven and said, “Steven, something is going on with Joe. I need to make a trip home. Please help me come up with an excuse for Mom.” 

Steven didn’t ask what was up. It was probably an emergency, judging by how blood had drained from her cheeks suddenly. 

Skylar quickly returned to Galaxy Villa. When she opened the door, she saw Paul, Howard, and two doctors in white coats. Howard was walking down the stairs, flanked by them. 

Upon catching sight of Skylar, Paul came over to explain what happened. 

“Mr. Martin had an international conference call just now. However, he fainted suddenly a few minutes before it started! On the way to the hospital, he woke up and refused to go to the hospital. He insisted on coming back to Galaxy Villa.” Paul had a rare look of seriousness on his face..

Skylar immediately asked Howard, “How’s he doing now?”
