Chapter 1137
Chapter 1137
Molly was on the phone and didn’t hear Vera’s warning. She also didn’t notice the approaching speeding car.
And just like that, the car hit her.
A streak of blood flowed through the air as Molly’s body flew into the air before crashing
heavily to the ground.
Everything happened so fast.
Vera’s face turned pale as she witnessed the scene.
Skylar heard about Molly’s accident an hour later.
The video of the accident was already trending online, and almost everyone could see it.
Molly didn’t make it to the hospital, and she passed away on the way.
The accident happened too quickly, and the driver was arrested on the spot. They said the
driver was drunk.
It seemed like a tragic accident, but Skylar felt something was not right. Joe had just called her, and now Molly was suddenly dead.
Though shocking, it didn’t have much of an impact. The person they suspected was very cautious. Each call with Molly had been through internet–based services, making them
untraceable.
Moreover, Molly had never met this person in Jipsburg. Any packages she received were always sent without a return address.
But now,
e needed to meet Edwin to go through all of Molly’s belongings. Skylar couldn’t
afford to be seen at the moment.
Just then, Vera called Skylar.
“I was there when Molly’s accident happened. I met her at the café today. We had some dealings—would you be interested?” Vera asked.
Then, Skylar replied, “I’m not interested in your business with her.”
“I’m giving you a chance to make some money, but you’re turning it down?
“Molly gave me a statue, but it’s cursed. She promised me that my wishes would come true if I
accepted it. But you can imagine the result–I was deceived. Can you help me get rid of the statue? Just name your price.”

Vera had already come to terms with the situation. Molly was dead, and no amount of anger would change that.
Skylar paused for a moment before saying, “Send me a photo of the statue. I’ll take a look.”
“Alright.”

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
