Skylar's throat tightened as she responded, "I've called several times, but he hasn't answered. We had some misunderstandings before."

"Let me try calling him and see what's going on," Jeremy said after a brief pause.

Skylar agreed and said, "Okay, I'll head to the airport now."

"Is Ned really Mr. Martin?" Helena wiped her still-damp hair and asked Jeremy, who was busy searching for phone numbers.

Jeremy turned to look at Helena, his eyes lighting up. "That's very possible."

The urgency of their departure surely indicated that Rosa was afraid.

"I believe his fiancée must have sensed something long ago but has been hiding it, which shows she has her own motives. If she doesn't come clean about Ned's true identity, and since he seems to have lost his memory, it's likely that the outcome won't be good when Skylar goes to find him.

"Ned won't easily believe her. After all, this whole situation is just too surreal," Helena said.
