Stephen had long since abandoned his education, and now he was a regular fixture in the tabloids—his audacity reaching new heights. But what really mattered was that he couldn't afford to lose Simona. He still needed her to help him climb into a higher social sphere.
Grinding his teeth in frustration, he picked up his phone and called Rosa. "My dad's been hospitalized. They say he has bone cancer, and I'm broke. Could you lend me 100,000 dollars? I'll pay you back double once the company starts turning a profit and I get my cut…"
He needed the money. 100,000 dollars was a lifeline, or maybe he could try his luck at a casino, place a bet, and make it all back. His instincts told him that his fortune was about to change.

Skylar quickly learned about Simona's situation from Aiken. She heard that Simona had broken up with Stephen for the second time.
Aiken was still concerned. "Do you think Simona could be falling under the influence of some negative item again?"
Skylar nodded, deep in thought. "Give it a couple of days. I'll prepare a talisman for her. She can keep it in her bag. If anything like that happens again—if someone tries to use negative energy against her—it shouldn't affect her much. Maybe just a headache or some occasional discomfort."
Aiken was reassured. "Alright, thank you for this."
Skylar assured him it was no trouble, but just as she was about to end the call, she heard a soft, feminine voice calling out to Aiken. The voice was delicate, almost seductive, sending an unexpected chill down her spine.
She paused for a moment, then smiled and ended the call.
It seemed that Aiken had found someone new.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
