Chapter 698
Molly’s eyes widened. She felt so attacked by Edwin’s words. She stumbled.
“Edwin Martin! You knew that they’d all stopped in the end. Basically, nothing had happened. Why are you insulting me like that?”
Joe had inflicted physical and psychological horror on her. He didn’t leave any evidence behind. They had stopped before anything really happened. All the horrible things had been recorded, but she had no physical evidence to show for it.
Yet, Edwin mocked her for it. Why did he think he could do that?
If not for him, she wouldn’t have been humiliate ke that. She was a member of the Martin family. She’d been esteemed as a part of a prestigious family for years, but she suffered a complete demolition of her dignity tonight.
Edwin took another gulp of wine. He asked, “If it was so humiliating, why did you enjoy it?”
“Yeah, I enjoyed it. You’ve indulged in too much pleasure. Your body hasn’t been able to keep up. I was forced to enjoy it. Perhaps I should even thank you. Although you’re his father, you’re utterly powerless before him.”
Moly couldn’t keep her composure. She shrieked at Joe with all her might.
Although Edwin went wild on a bunch of women, he would return home at the end of the day. However, he wouldn’t touch her. He didn’t have the energy to.
Molly was a normal woman. She put on a show before others. It was completely justifiable. Both Molly and Edwin considered their personal
interests before all else. If this was a crime, both of them were criminals.
Today, Joe was extremely forceful. She couldn’t escape. Edwin had the chance
to sever ties with Joe to protect Molly. In the end, what Edwin had done was leaked to the public, and she was sacrificed because of that. How ironic!
This wouldn’t have happened to any other family.
Edwin couldn’t threaten Joe, nor could he keep him in line. He couldn’t even control his son. What kind of man was he?
Although Molly said nothing, Edwin knew what she was thinking upon meeting her eyes.
“Are you looking down on me? Alright. Let’s get divorced tomorrow morning,” Edwin said. His eyes glinted cruelly.
What a great son he had. He was even more ruthless than Edwin! Their familial bonds meant nothing to him. Although Joe seemed like he’d set Molly straight, he was really teaching Edwin a lesson.
Edwin had been proved spectacularly wrong.
“A divorce? Edwin, I’d never divorce you! You ed me for all I was worth. Now, you want to ditch me? In your dreams! I won’t do as you wish!
“After all these years, I know your vulnerabilities. If your other relatives found out, you would become their embarrassment. Their belief that you’re a useless dipshit will be cemented,” Molly said firmly. Although she was pale and needed to grab a handrail to remain standing, she remained steadfast.
Edwin was livid. He grabbed a bottle and threw it at Molly.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
