Gloria, Alexander, Caleb, and Simona stood outside, waiting for her to wake up. When they came in, they chorused, “How are you feeling, Skye?” 

“I was so worried, Skylar.” 

She had gotten a good night’s sleep. In addition, she had been hooked up to an IV drip. Her wounds had been tended to properly. She was doing alright.

She’d been a skilled fighter and knew her way around acupuncture points. Joe had shown up in time. If not, she would’ve been raped.

Joe had sent many people to look for Skylar, but they found her in an abandoned warehouse, surrounded by a group of men and cameras. 

Aiken had dealt with them. None of them dared to talk about it. 

“I have many creams that will help with the scarring. They work extremely well. It won’t leave any marks behind,” Gloria said as she swallowed back tears,

Thankfully, Joe got there in time. Gloria dared not imagine what would happen if he hadn’t found her. 

Alexander added, “I have some friends who specialize in such creams. Don’t worry. I’ll make sure you won’t have any scars. Rest well in the hospital. Don’t you worry about a thing.”
