Chapter 711
Austin had already dismissed the makeup artist. His gaze was fixed on Natalie, awaiting her response.
Natalie almost choked on her food. “Pregnant? How come I didn’t know?”
Hank was at a loss for words. Scratching his head, he finally said, “Last time at the airport, when you got off the plane, you looked like you were about to throw up. I may not be married or have much experience, but I can still put two and two together.
“Didn’t you notice I’ve been reducing your workload these days? I haven’t even scheduled any overseas business trips for you.”
Natalie was speechless as she finally realized what had happened. “You’ve got it all wrong. I just had a stomach issue last time, nothing more. I’m not pregnant, nor could I be. I thought you were unhappy with my work and were cutting my tasks because of that.”
It was a series of misunderstandings, one, leading to another.
After leaving the courthouse earlier, Natalie had even been preparing to look for a new job.
Jeremy–had offered her a generous settlement during their divorce, ensuring she would be financially secure, but she had refused.
She couldn’t accept it, no matter how much he insisted. Only after her persistent refusal did Jeremy finally agree.
Hank was stunned. “You’re not pregnant? That’s impossible? Natalie, you…”
Though Natalie had recently lost some weight, she looked healthy. Hank couldn’t believe that her health issue was affecting her ability to conceive.
Natalie realized that Hank had jumped to conclusions, leaving her feeling helpless. “Come on, Hank, don’t overthink it. It’s not what you think.”
Noticing Austin also looking her way, she suddenly felt like the cake in her hand had lost all its appeal. She felt embarrassed and couldn’t take another
bite.
Austin’s eyes seemed to flicker with amusement, but it happened so quickly that no one could be sure. “You talk too much,” he said to Hank.
Hank rubbed his nose sheepishly. “So it was all just a mix–up. Well, eat up then. No I mean, let’s eat together.”
Hank had spent the past few days trying to figure out how to manage Natalie’s Situation
He couldn’t help but glance at her stomach every chance he got, imagining how things would change once she started showing. He was sure that Jeremy would never allow Natalie to continue working when that happened, and Austin’s interest in her would die down.
The PR materials Hank had been preparing in secret could finally be shelved. But now, it seemed he had to prepare other PR materials. Hank’s emotions had been all over the place recently.
He decided he needed food to calm his nerves and relieve some of the stress from work. Though the situation had been a mess for him, it was clear Austin’s mood had improved.
Though Natalie wasn’t pregnant, it didn’t change the fact that she was already married.
The cinema was crowded, with many couples their age filling the seats. It seemed that these romantic movies were always box–office hits.
Skylar had quickly looked up the film’s synopsis on the internet before they arrived and had a rough idea of the plot.
The movie chronicled the main characters‘ school days into adulthood. Through various trials, it ultimately led to a bittersweet reunion.
Reviews warned it was a tearjerker and suggested bringing tissues.
After finding seats, Skylar drank water. Recovering from her injury, she avoided sugary treats like popcorn. Yet, she couldn’t help but cast a longing glance at the people around them; almost everyone had their own bucket of popcorn.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
