After hanging up, Joe glanced at Skylar and commented, "You're the only one Grandma can see."
He sounded a little jealous.
Skylar couldn't help but gloat. "I'm cute and gorgeous. It's normal that Grandma adores me. Try harder. Perhaps you'll be more important to Grandma one day."
Joe choked back a laugh and said, "I detected no trace of humbleness there."
"It's nothing but the truth." Skylar smiled as well.
Joe stood up. The angles from which they viewed each other changed drastically, and Skylar needed to look up at him.
Joe glanced down at her. It was as though black holes swirled within his eyes. She couldn't see the depths of his gaze. He said, "Mr. Querbach told me that Grandma was very jealous of how others could hold their grandchildren during their reunion. Just now, she asked us to work hard. Skylar, why don't we have a baby?"
Joe sounded as though it was another passing comment. Perhaps it was because the atmosphere between them had been excellent. They were like a married couple deeply in love, discussing their future.
Skylar was disoriented for a moment, but she recovered her senses in the next second.
Joe…
She averted her eyes and changed the topic. She said, "I need to use the washroom."
Joe watched Skylar make her escape. An icy glare flashed across Joe's eyes. It was terrifying.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
