Chapter 927
Jenny dared to place a negative item in Joe’s office.
Of course…
“Perhaps she didn’t know what was inside the fountain pen. Someone used her,” Paul suggested.
Joe ordered icily, “Call her. Tell her to make a trip to the office.”
“Alright.”

When Jenny received Paul’s call, she was delighted. Immediately, she
called back.
In the car, she kept touching up her makeup in front of a mirror. She’d thought that Joe would ignore her for the rest of their lives and didn’t want to have anything to do with her.
Jenny hadn’t expected Paul to call her under Joe’s orders.
Had Joe forgiven her?
Jenny decided to talk things out with Joe later. The videos he’d seen were filmed by someone else. She had been forced into it by Edwin. Her food must’ve been laced on that night in the mansion.
As to her and Rowan, he’d been chased out of his house. Then, he’d moved into hers. When she thought of how he would no longer be the eldest son of the Jakemans, she couldn’t force herself to accept it.
If Joe forgave her…
Jenny wanted to be with Joe more than anyone else. With a head full of wonderful fantasies, Jenny headed straight toward Joe’s office upon arriving at the Martin Group.
She admired Joes muscled figure silhouette against the window. Jenny’s heart fluttered. She said, “Joe, whether you believe it or not, I was forced into that relationship with Edwin. I was terrified. He kept threatening me. I could do nothing it get pushed around again and
again.
“Joe, have you found out about that? Is that why you’ve stopped being mad at me? I knew it. You’re the only one who treats me the best in
this whole wide world.”
As she spoke, she sobbed, as though she wanted to unload all her
grievances onto Joe.
Paul looked on, and he couldn’t help but smirk.
She probably had been forced into it. However, she definitely hadn’t gotten close to Edwin with pure intentions, not to mention how she was helping Edwin achieve his goals.
Jenny claimed she was innocent, but that was probably far from the
truth.
Joe had been facing away from Jenny the whole time. When she realized he hadn’t moved or offered her a response, her heart skipped a beat. She uttered, “Joe? Do you not believe me? I’m telling nothing. but the truth. If Mr. Martin were here, I’d be able to face off against
him.”
He turned around and placed a fountain pen on the table. He asked, ” Do you remember this?”

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
