Chapter 929
Before leaving the mall, Skylar saw a gigantic light pink octopus toy. It was cute. She took a picture and sent it to Joe. She said, “I want this.”
Joe replied quickly, “You can buy it, but don’t bring it home.”
Skylar could imagine his disdain at the picture. There were little to no furry items like this at home. In the end, she didn’t buy the big one. She bought a mini one and put it in her car.
After she was done shopping, she stuffed everything into the back of the car and drove away.
She couldn’t win against the elderly shoppers. Skylar hadn’t even gathered the courage to approach the section for fresh produce.
After that, she got ready to return to Galaxy Villa. Skylar had bought a lot of stuff on this shopping trip.
As she drove out of the parking lot, Joe called.
“Are you done shopping?”
“I’ve gotten almost everything on the shopping list. Do you need anything else?”
“Nope, I’ll wait for you at home.”
He was home early. Skylar had thought he would be busy till nightfall. It was barely three in the afternoon now.
As she stopped at a red light, she looked around out of boredom.
Suddenly, she saw Jenny with another girl. She was a little taller than Jenny and had an icy demeanor. It was Minerva.
They were having a conversation, the contents of which Skylar couldn’t hear. Then, Minerva slapped Jenny across the face.

The bystanders crowded around Minerva. They were probably questioning her about why she’d hit Jenny.
Minerva was cool and calm. She didn’t panic about being accused. On the contrary, she wiped at her hand. It was as though slapping Jenny had dirtied her palm.
A horn sounded behind Skylar.
Skylar focused back on the road and stepped on the gas, zooming away from the junction.
She could no longer see them in the mirror.
However, Skylar wasn’t worried about Minerva. She was calm and had a good measure of self–control. Jenny wouldn’t be able to harm her.
However, Skylar hadn’t expected that Jenny would turn into who she was today. She was completely different from the naïve young girl Skylar had met in the hospital back then.
Skylar reflected on it. She hoped that she would never lose her moral standards even if fell deeply in love with someone in the future.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
