Chapter 962
Natalie took a large gulp of the mango juice. It was incredibly delicious. Freshly squeezed juice was definitely the best.
“This is delicious. The last time I visited an orchard, I didn’t see any mango trees,” she said.
Austin replied, “The chef brought the mangoes from the supermarket.”
Natalie nodded and said, “No wonder.”
If there had been mangoes in the orchard, she would have picked them and eaten them right away.
Skylar smiled slightly, noting that Austin’s attention to Natalie’s preferences showed his genuine interest. Looking at Natalie’s reaction toward Austin, it was evident that she had the complete attitude of an employee toward a boss or a fan toward an idol. This made Austin’s pursuit of her potentially challenging. “Lamb skewers are ready! Come and eat. I’ll start grilling the beef skewers and chicken wings,” Hank called out, his face reddened from the grill.
While he ate, he continued to speak to them.
Natalie’s eyes lit up as she ran back. “Mr. Powell, Skylar, just sit and wait. I’ll bring the lamb skewers.”
The freshly grilled lamb skewers smelled incredibly tempting. After taking a bite, Skylar gave Hank a big compliment. “They’re so delicious. Better than any barbecue I’ve had in Jipsburg.”
Originally, Skylar thought Hank might have been boasting, but now it was clear Hank was truly skilled.
“Yes, yes, this is the best barbecue I’ve ever had.” Natalie nodded in agreement.
Hank laughed heartily at the praise. “Barbecue not only requires good quality meat but also proper grilling. This is a family receipt. My dad has run a barbecue restaurant for over 20 years and taught me all the techniques. If you like it, we should get together more often when we’re back in Jipsburg.”
Austin ate sparingly.
Even though the lamb skewers were incredibly aromatic, he restrained himself to only two skewers.
Seeing this, Natalie felt a bit sorry. Austin was so disciplined for his dreams that he could only have two skewers of such delicious meat.
“Mr. Powell, would you like some veggie wraps? They’re filled with onions and cilantro, and I asked Hank to use less oil and salt,” she offered.
Austin looked at her and smiled. “Sure, that sounds good.”
Natalie went over to get the veggie wraps.
Austin then asked Skylar, “Do you think she likes me?”
Skylar shook her head with a smile. “It’s hard to tell right now.”
Given Natalie’s personality and her recent divorce from Jeremy, she likely wasn’t considering jumping into another relationship so soon.
Therefore, she probably hadn’t thought that Austin might have feelings for her. Austin’s smile faded slightly as he took a sip of the red wine. Then, he said, “I guess I haven’t done enough yet.”
The barbecue continued for over two hours.

Afterward, they moved inside to relax. They sipped wine and sang songs. There weren’t many people, but the atmosphere was comfortable.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
