Chapter 965
After drinking and singing, neither Austin nor Hank fast the alightest bit sleepy. So they decided to have another round of drinks.
“I’ve rescheduled tomorrow’s daytime activities, but the evening ones can’t be postponed. Check the schedule and see if there’s anything wrong,” Hank said as he handed over the plans.
Austin skimmed through the schedule quickly. “Everything looks fine. We’ll follow this plan.”
“There will be an interview after the event. Just speak freely. These small interviews are a piece of cake for you.” Hank was confident in Austin’s abilities.
Of course, Hank had been confident for many years, though he was still uneasy about Austin’s romantic
issues.
“I noticed that Natalie seemed oblivious today. Doesn’t she realize you have feelings for her?” Hank was exasperated with Natalie’s lack of awareness.
Austin’s expression darkened. “She’s just come out of a difficult situation with Jeremy. It’s natural for her to be guarded about relationships right now. Maybe she’ll come to understand it in time.”
“Speaking of Jeremy, I feel like he still hasn’t gotten over Natalie, but he’s hard to read,” Hank said with a frown.
He couldn’t shake the feeling that even if Natalie knew about Austin’s feelings and ended up with him, Jeremy would definitely try to intervene.
Austin gave a noncommittal hum in response.
Hank raised an eyebrow. He realized that while he was here fretting about whether Jeremy would take any drastic measures, Austin seemed completely unconcerned.
Hank glanced around the mansion. He thought that this place wasn’t something money could easily buy.
“Austin, after keeping this secret for so many years, just tell me straight out–who exactly are you?”
Austin gave him a cool glance and replied, “I’m your bread and butter.”
Hank muttered a curse under his breath and said, “I’m going to bed.”
The next day, Natalie and Skylar woke up at 11:00 am.
Skylar had a headache.
“Do you have a headache, too? My head hurts so much. I knew I shouldn’t have drunk yesterday. It always gives me a headache,” Natalie complained about her health, lamenting that she could eat anything but shouldn’t drink.
“I have a headache as well. Drink some water, it should help relieve it soon,” Skylar said, handing Natalie a glass of water.
Skylar took a few sips of water slowly, while Natalie also took a few sips of water. After about ten minutes, both felt some relief from their headaches.
The mansion’s chef had prepared a lavish breakfast with various Floan and Wiscadian cuisines, all beautifully presented and rich in flavor and aroma.
Skylar was quite hungry.
“The pancakes are incredible. I’ve been craving them since the last time I had them. They’re even better than what I had at Jipsburg.” Natalie enthusiastically recommended the pancakes.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
