Chapter 971
Austin and Hank were also staying on the ninth floor. Austin waved off the suggestion and said, “She wouldn’t go back to someone she’s already left.”
“Go back?” Hank paused and nodded vigorously. “Yes, Natalie’s not the type to change her decisions. If she were, she would have reconciled with Jeremy when he first came to Fachington.”
Back in the room, Natalie was the first to speak as she looked at Jeremy.
“We’ve talked a few times, but we haven’t resolved anything. Jeremy, we can’t
continue like this.”
Jeremy glanced around the room, noting that there were no signs of another man staying there. It seemed that Austin hadn’t taken things further with
Natalie.
Hearing Natalie’s words, Jeremy’s expression darkened. He sat down on the single couch and then turned to face her
“We indeed can’t continue like this. My relationship with Helena isn’t what you think. She signed with my company’s film division, and we were just on a business trip together.
“You’ve completely misunderstood the nature of my relationship with her. If this were before, you would definitely question me.”
Natalie bit her lip as she said, “You’re right, that was before. Back then, I was your girlfriend or your wife. If you had another woman around, I would question you. But now that we’re divorced, who you’re with is no longer my concern.”
When he heard “no longer my concern“, Jeremy’s eye’s suddenly darkened with intensity. “Now I can tell you that it does matter. I came here to say that we need to remarry.”
“Remarry? Jeremy, are you joking? I’ve never said I wanted to remarry you, nor have I ever agreed to it.” Natalie looked at him in shock.
She wondered how he could be so brazen as to talk about remarrying. It was incredibly overbearing and presumptuous.
Chapter 971
Jeremy’s face grew even darker as he stood up. He was a head taller than Natalie, and as he looked down at her, the scene of pressure was palpable.
Under his gaze, Natalie found it hard to breathe and took a large step back.
“Do you remember what I told you last time? Divorce was just a temporary measure to give you time to realize that you are meant to be my wife for life.” Jeremy’s voice was deep and serious.
It was clear to anyone how Jeremy felt about Natalie now.
“After our divorce, my grandfather arranged another marriage for me, but I turned it down. I told them our divorce was temporary and that we would remarry soon. Even my parents and your parents know about my decision. Natalie, you’ve had enough time away. It’s time to come back.”
Natalie’s eyes reddened as she listened. “What do you need me to say for you to understand? Our divorce was not a temporary fix. We are truly divorced now. When we went through with the divorce, I made it clear that I would never remarry you.”

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
