When Skylar opened her eyes, she was greeted by Joe’s incredibly refined and handsome face. They were extremely close to each other–so close that she could feel his breath. 

Then, Skylar realized something. Their sleeping positions had changed. Initially, Joe had been holding her, but now, she was the one clinging to him. 

She was wrapped around him like a koala, with her leg draped over him. No wonder Joe was staring at her.. 

“Do you like holding me that much?” he asked. 

Skylar quickly pulled her leg back. “Isn’t it you who likes holding me more?”

Joe was momentarily stunned, but then, he admitted with complete openness. “You’re really comfortable to hold. Holding you makes me want to sleep.” 

“Looks like you’re all better now,” Skylar muttered. 

Although she knew what he meant, she still thought his shamelessness had reached a new level. 

Joe continued to stare at her intently, making Skylar feel a bit uneasy. 

“What are you looking at?” 

Suddenly, Joe flipped over, pinning her beneath him, and without another word, leaned down to kiss her passionately. 

The kiss made Skylar feel dizzy, and things quickly spiraled out of control. 

After a long while, Skylar kicked Joe lightly while covered in sweat and feeling exhausted. “You must have gone crazy!” she scolded. 

He had just recovered from a fever, yet here he was, jumping straight into bed with her in the morning. 

Did he think he was made out of steel? But she had to admit that his stamina was impressive. 

“You enjoyed it too,” Joe said casually; his post–activity mood had always been quite pleasant. 

Skylar shot him a glare and tried to get up to take a shower, but Joe held her tight, making it impossible 

for her to move. 

“Let go of me. I need a shower,” Skylar demanded. 

“Shower later. I don’t mind,” Joe said, unsure what he was feeling, but he didn’t want her out of sight just 

yet. 

Perhaps it was the passion they shared during their activity–when their bodies and souls seemed to align perfectly. He seemed addicted to that feeling. 

Skylar sighed deeply. “Perhaps you don’t mind, but I do. You’re covered in sweat.” 

Joe’s expression darkened instantly. 

Suddenly, he thought of Aiken. So, he gave her a firm kiss and said, “Since you still have energy, let’s go 

for another round.” 

What was going on with this woman? How could she reject him right after their session? 

Skylar tried to push him away a few times but couldn’t move him. The current Joe seemed completely different, almost like a wild beast, relentless and fierce
