Willow continued wiping Hailey’s face. “Mom, nothing is going on between Mr. Hughes and me. It’s not what you think.”
“You sure? The blazer belongs to Mr. Hughes. I saw him at Hughes Corporation today. Wills, I have nothing against you being in a relationship. There’s no need for you to hide it from me.” Lara looked at Willow intensely.
“That’s because…” Willow was about to explain what happened when she saw the kids looking at her.
If she told them that she had been kidnapped and almost got assaulted, the kids would be devastated.

She didn’t want the kids to worry about her.
She stopped talking and didn’t tell them the truth.
She continued to eat and changed the conversation topic. “I’ll return the blazer to Mr. Hughes tomorrow. Mom, your cooking is delicious today.”
Willow smiled brightly at Lara.
Lara knew that Willow didn’t want to talk about it.
She let it go as she understood that the kids were still young and it was not good for them after knowing what had happened.
“Eat more.” Lara put more food on Willow's plate.
At night, Willow read a bedtime story for the kids.
After they fell asleep, Willow put down the book and held the kids lovingly to sleep.
The next day, Willow didn't have to go to work. It was a Saturday.
The sun was shining when she woke up. The bed was empty. Her kids had gotten up.
Willow stretched and got up. She had slept well last night.
