“That’s too dangerous. Luckily our house wasn’t chosen for a trial home.” Florence was distraught.
Willow smiled and didn’t say anything.
Willow knew that there wouldn’t be any problems with the villa. Jasper was in charge of it. She just didn’t want to make people jealous of her. That was why she had said it was a trial residence and it might be dangerous.
She would find a way to return the construction money to Jasper.
They chatted on the way to Florence’s house.
Florence took out a cloud-shaped jade pendant from the drawer and handed it to Willow.
The jade pendant had a red string to it. It could be worn as a necklace.
It had a vibrant emerald color and a dragon was carved on it.
Unfortunately, there was mud and dirt on the crevices that couldn’t be washed away.
“It was covered in mud when I dug it up. I cleaned it, but the remaining mud had to be washed with special tools,” Florence said.
Willow took the pendant and looked at it. She felt a surge of emotions and she breathed in deeply.
Five years ago, she had thrown the pendant away after taking a look at it. She couldn’t find it when she wanted to.
She clearly remembered that there was a dragon on the cloud-shaped jade pendant.
This was indeed the pendant that she lost five years ago.
She planned to deal with that man after finding the pendant, but she couldn’t find it no matter what.
Even after five years, she still remembered how humiliated and desperate she was when she was assaulted.
