Willow planned to go to the jewelry store and ask them about the jade pendant. Maybe they could trace the owner.

Willow woke up and dressed up at 8 AM the next morning.

Although the villa was new, it was furnished. Some of their old furniture was there, still playing their role.

Willow still had her old bed and quilt, but her room was new and cozy now.

She felt familiar and odd at the same time.

Last night, Lara slept in one bed with Tristan and Julian, and Helen slept in the other room with Hailey and Lilith.

There were only two rooms in the old house. Whenever Willow and the kids came home, Lara and Helen had to sleep in one room and Willow would have to cram with the kids. They could barely move in the bed.

Everyone could sleep better as there were more rooms now.

It was so comfortable that Lara, Helen, and the kids weren’t awake yet.

Willow went to their rooms and saw that they were still sleeping soundly. She smiled and closed the door gently.

She took the jade pendant and was ready to go to the jewelry store in the city. She wanted to find out about the owner.

She bumped into two strong men when she stepped out of the gate.

The men were police officers.

Willow was confused. She blinked and asked, “Good morning. May I know who you are looking for?”

“I believe that Willow lives here,” one of the police asked.

Willow nodded.

“We’re looking for Willow,” another police officer said.
