Willow's heartrate increased. She quickly turned around.
She saw that the black Rolls-Royce had already turned around and moved far away.
The children were not loud. Jasper probably did not hear them calling her 'Mommy'.
Willow sighed in relief. She then turned around to look at her four children who were running toward her.
The happiest thing Willow had felt over the past five years was how her four children would run toward her whenever she returned home. Their eyes were always full of love.
Willow smiled happily before kneeling and opening her arms to hug her children.
Hailey ran the fastest. She threw herself into Willow's arms and kissed Willow's cheeks with her soft lips. "Mommy, you're home. Grandma was worried sick about you."
The next to hug Willow was Lilith. Lilith was a little leaner than Hailey, but she was still a child after all. She had round, plump cheeks. After hugging Willow, she also kissed Willow on the cheeks. "Mommy, you're finally home. We're all terribly worried."
Tristan and Julian ran up to Willow and stopped. They knew they could not squeeze in since Willow's arms were full.
However, after slowing down, they still tried to squeeze their way into her arms.
Willow hugged her four children with a look of contentment on her face.
"Why would you be worried about me?" Willow asked.
"Mrs. Jones said the cops took you away. She said you committed a crime. We were terrified." Julian pouted with tears in his eyes.
Willow realized it was all because of this.
She reached out and rubbed the tears on Julian's face away with her thumb. "The cops misunderstood me. Now that it's been resolved, I've come back. Don't worry. It's alright. Come on, let's go home."
Willow stood up and held her two children's hands before leading them toward their home.
Their house used to be old and run-down, but it was now a huge villa.
