On second thought, Jasper felt that it wasn’t right. Even if Willow had slept with him, it shouldn’t stop her from continuing schooling.
He realized that her change of heart was not because of their encounter.
Willow was upset at his question.
She was agitated and angry at the thought of what had happened five years ago.
If it weren’t for Jasper, she wouldn’t have needed bedrest due to the unstable pregnancy.
She wouldn’t have had to drop out of school. She could have gotten her degree.
However, her grievances and anger disappeared when she thought of her kids.
Everything she had suffered was worth it.
“It’s nothing. I’m sleepy already. Goodnight.” Willow evaded the question. She turned around and pulled the covers over her.
If she had told Jasper that she was pregnant, he would discover that he had fathered four kids.
But he had said he didn’t like kids… that they were too noisy.
Willow decided that it was not the time to tell Jasper about it now.
It wouldn’t be too late to let him know after she had influenced him to accept children.
Jasper sensed her reluctance to talk about dropping out.
He was curious about it, but since she didn’t want to talk about it, he didn't force her.
