However, she had been accused of using her body to get to the top, which hurt her deeply.
It was only yesterday that she thought she could give her kids a complete home, but reality slapped her hard.
Seeing Willow cry, Lara got even more distressed and anxious.
She slightly pushed her away and looked at her. “What happened? Stop crying. Tell me who bullied you. I’ll kill him for you.”
Willow seldom cried. Lara remembered the last time Willow cried was when she found out that she was pregnant. She had to give up her studies because of the unstable pregnancy.
Lara had never seen her shed a tear in these five years.
“Mommy, what’s wrong?” Willow felt someone tug on her dress.
She looked down and saw a blurry image of a kid with pigtails through her teary eyes. It was Hailey.
Willow quickly wiped away her tears and put on a smile. “I’m fine. I’m just too tired. I wanted to be pampered by my mom too.”
“Let me hug you, Mommy.” Julian eagerly came forward and hugged Willow’s legs.
“Don’t cry, Mommy. Go and sit on the sofa. I’ll give you a massage.” Tristan led Willow to the sofa and massaged her back.
Willow’s heart felt warm after her kids took turns caring for her.
“Mommy, soak your feet.” Lilith brought a basin of water.
The basin was heavy, but she didn’t give up. She gritted her teeth and walked towards Willow slowly.
