What? Did he even know where her house was? No. She couldn’t let him send her home. It would be over once he saw the kids!
She panicked and struggled to pull away. “There’s no need for that, Mr. Hughes. I can go back on my own.”
“Listen to me.” Jasper had already opened the door and shoved her into the car.
Willow had no choice but to obey.
He slammed the door shut and he returned to the driver's seat.
Willow didn’t realize that her colleague, Jessica, happened to see this scene.
Jessica came out from the company with the receptionist, Fanny.
Jessica pulled Fanny’s sleeve. “Did you see that? It’s Mr. Hughes.”
Fanny followed her gaze and saw the license plate number, “That’s right.”
Jessica became excited. “Mr. Hughes led Willow into his car. The person that he was looking at yesterday was Willow, right?”
It had been Jessica’s first day at work yesterday. When they were greeting the president, she had noticed Jasper was looking at her way. She thought that he was looking at her.
She didn't realize that Willow was standing right next to her. Only now did she realize it.
Fanny didn’t comment on anything. It looked like the previous rumor between Jasper and Willow was true.
