Rachel quickly changed the topic before Willow could speak. She returned to the subject that almost made her crash her car earlier.

“What did you just say? The children’s father is Jasper?!” Her big eyes stared at Willow in shock, refusing to blink in case she missed any of Willow’s reactions.

In contrast to her excitement, Willow nodded calmly. “That’s right.”

“Goodness, am I dreaming?” Rachel was so riled up like she had just won the lottery.

“Willow, pinch me. I want to see if it hurts.”

To think that the children’s father was Jasper. Just a minute ago, they were even discussing how the father had died. Jasper would probably be furious if he found out.

Willow looked at her and chuckled. “You have the same reaction as I did when I first found out.”

“Of course. This is Jasper we’re talking about! Jasper Hughes! A man of the highest authority in Buscen City and master of the richest family around. He’s every girl’s dream guy. But you went and bore four of his children!”

Rachel held up four fingers as she explained with thrill and shock.

The red light had turned green by now. The cars before them had already left, but Rachel was still riled up talking to Willow instead of driving away.

The cars behind them honked impatiently.

Willow urged her to focus on driving.

Only then did Rachel return to her senses and drive away.

Once they arrived at a safe zone, Rachel stopped the car by the road to talk to Willow. She had to know everything.

Willow had been feeling melancholic about it. She told Rachel about her encounter five years ago and reunion five years later with Jasper.

She also told her that Jasper didn’t like children and that his grandfather thought nothing of her. His grandfather claimed that she merely won Jasper over with her body and wasn’t worthy of him.

“What the hell?! If Jasper finds out you bore him four children, the Hughes family is sure to desert you and take the kids away. You’d lose him and your kids if that happens,” Rachel concluded after analyzing the situation.

Willow had the same concerns.
