My Four Miraculous Treasures novel Chapter 27

Jasper wanted to know everything about the woman he met five years ago, including her family. In the past few days, he kept mistaking other women for her.

Perhaps it had been too long, so his memory of that woman was distorted. He seemed to find her shadow in unrelated people. Constantly seeking a certain familiarity was frustrating.

He couldn’t let himself go on like this.

Knowing her personal information and her family could help him distinguish between her family members and unrelated people.

If it concerned her family, he would show his utmost generosity. As for unrelated people who wanted to hook up with him, he would show them no mercy!

Upon hearing Jasper’s words, Edith went silent. She followed Jasper into the office, and watched him take a seat. There was nervousness and panic in her eyes, but she tried her best to stay calm and not let her nerves show.

Tyson entered. He glanced at the documents in her hand, and said, "Ms. Price, let me take care of the rest."

Edith returned to her senses. What she had in her hands was the family background of the four children.

Due to her nerves, she clutched the documents tightly. The edges were crumpled.

If she was the person in charge, she could prevent Jasper from knowing the identity of the children’s mother. If Tyson took over, she feared…

Tyson took the documents from her. "Ms. Price, you seem very tired. Did you not have enough rest?"

He had said that out of concern, because Edith's complexion looked terrible.

Edith hurriedly said, "I'm fine. I don't need more rest. Please excuse me. I need to finish my work."

She turned and left the office.

She didn’t need a vacation. Jasper originally planned to suspend her for three months, but she managed to get it reduced to three days.

It was hard for Edith to imagine what would happen if Willow stayed by Jasper's side every day, without her to monitor things.
