Rachel had stubby, warm hands. When she held Wyatt's hand, he could feel the warmth from her palm. It was also a little sweaty.
He glanced at her. "We can talk, but can you please remove your hand?"
Rachel's heart skipped a beat when she met with his gaze. Just one look from him was enough to make her heart race.
She realized he was disgusted when she held his hand.
She immediately pulled away in disappointment.
"What do you need help with? Let me make this clear. I won't do anything that's immoral or against the law," Wyatt said.
"It's nothing immoral or against the law. It's very simple," Rachel quickly said.
"Okay. Go ahead," Wyatt replied.
He wanted to return her favor as soon as possible. He did not want to owe her anything.
"Come with me," Rachel said.
She led Wyatt to the room with the number Willow had mentioned.
After passing through a corridor, and just as they were about to make a turn at the corner, she caught sight of two bodyguards dressed in black who were standing guard by the door. Swiftly, she backed into the corridor and avoided being seen by the bodyguards.
Wyatt was also about to make the turn, but Rachel pushed him back in time.
He was tall, while Rachel was short. Although she was slightly plump, she had an exquisite appearance.
When she pushed him, she basically threw himself into his arms.
Rachel could sense his overpowering masculinity, smell the hint of fragrance on his body, and feel his solid chest.
With her hand pressing against his chest, her heart skipped a beat once more.
