Wyatt was able to guess Rachel's friend was Willow right away.
Rachel quickly denied it. "Of course, it's not Willow! Willow is working in Hughes Corporation. She doesn't even have a boyfriend. It's my other friend."
"Which man would be crazy enough to lock someone up just because he doesn't want to break up with that person?" Wyatt raised his brows in disbelief.
Rachel nodded. "He is rather crazy. That's why women need to be very alert when it comes to dating."
After saying that, Rachel glanced at Wyatt again.
There was a look of desire in her eyes.
Wyatt felt uncomfortable with Rachel obviously staring at him. He looked away. "Who is your friend?"
"My classmate's name is Queenie. You can check if you don't believe me." Rachel randomly mentioned a university friend. Anyway, it was a real person.
Wyatt did not fully believe her. After glancing at her once, he sent a text to his assistant.
Rachel's heart raced when she saw he was really going to check on it.
If he discovered Queenie was not the right person, he would know Rachel had lied to him.
What if he refused to help?
Rachel felt restless.
Soon, Wyatt received a response from his assistant.
He opened the message. Rachel quickly stood on her tiptoes to take a peek.
Wyatt lifted his hand so that she could not see it.
Rachel nervously pouted when she failed to see what was on his phone.
After reading the content of the message, Wyatt's facial expression turned gloomy.
"What is it?" Rachel asked restlessly.
