My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2179

Preslie stood motionless.

The reason she did not approach Tremaine and ask him why he could be so heartless was because she was scared of him.

After all, she had always been rather terrified of Tremaine.

She thought that she would brave up and ask Tremaine if they ever bumped into each other.

Preslie had been waiting for Tremaine to come up.

In her mind, she figured since Tremaine was only one floor down, he would definitely make his way up. However, she had been waiting for him for a long time, yet Tremaine still remained downstairs.

He looked up towards Yesseca's floor.

Preslie could not take it any longer.

She thought, "Why hasn't Tremaine come up yet?"

If he did not come up, her legs would give way.

No, she had to sit.

Preslie sat down on the stairs.

The moment Preslie sat down, she felt much better. Suddenly, a thought came into her mind.

Wait!

Did she focus wrongly?

All the while, she had been thinking that she would interrogate Tremaine after he made his way up, but she failed to realize why he was in Yesseca's house in the first place!

Preslie's breath halted.

Hadn't Tremaine fallen out of love with Yesseca?

He no longer loved Yesseca, instead he was with that b*tch Qiana. Yet, why was he at Yesseca's home?

Could it be?

A thought flashed across Preslie's mind.

Did Tremaine still had feelings for Yesseca?

Tremaine said lightly, "This is not her house."

"This is her house," Preslie replied, "Why are you here? You're at Yesseca's house, and you've been here for a long time. What is the meaning of this?"

Tremaine glared at Preslie and asked "What does this have anything to do with you?"

Preslie's heart thumped hard when she heard his words. She picked up her courage and said, "I am Yesseca's friend, of course this has something to do with me!"

Tremaine did not care much about Preslie and he was prepared to get into the car.

Preslie reached out and grabbed the car handle and said to Tremaine, "Mr. Tremaine, you have not answered me!"

Tremaine's face turned cold, "Preslie, do you know what you're doing?"

This was not a question, but a statement, and it sounded cold. Preslie loosened her grip.

Preslie bit her lip hard.

No, she couldn't be a coward!

Yesseca was her best friend. She had suffered so much grievance and pain because of Tremaine. How could she not dare to ask because she was afraid of Tremaine?
