Tremaine's breathing turned rapid, but he did not speak.
When Sheldon realized that Tremaine was annoyed by his question, he became bolder.
He became much braver and continued to ask, "Mr. Tremaine, do you still think that you have a chance to be with Miss Cowell?"
If Mr. Tremaine really still held any hope, then Preslie was right just now.
"No," Tremaine replied to Sheldon.
Sheldon heaved a sigh of relief.
He knew it.
Just as he thought. Since Mr. Tremaine was married, it was impossible for him to still have hopes about being together with Yesseca.
This was a respect that every man should have for himself and the other party!
Mr. Tremaine was someone respectable!
"You may go now," Tremaine said. It seemed that he no longer want to speak to Sheldon. He waved his hand as a form of dismissal.
"Yes, Mr. Tremaine," Sheldon greeted loudly.
At first, he felt a little guilty when Tremaine asked him to do that. However, after he received Tremaine's confirmation, Sheldon felt confident that Tremaine had no sinful thoughts about Yesseca.
In the afternoon, Sheldon reached Agaphen City. Instead of looking for Preslie, he found Yesseca.
After Yesseca heard what Sheldon said, she was confused. So, she immediately called Preslie.
At first, Preslie had decided to hide this matter from Yesseca, but she did not expect Sheldon would go to them in person. Hence, Preslie had no choice but to tell Yesseca the whole story.
After Preslie finished explaining, she glared at Sheldon and said, "Sheldon, does Mr. Tremaine think this is funny? There are so many dessert shops in the world! Why must you come to our dessert shop! Is he really that shameless?"
There was a flash of anger in Sheldon's eyes, "Preslie, please watch your words! You should know Mr. Tremaine's identity well! There is no need to slander him with your words!"
Preslie smirked, "I am not slandering him. If he dared to do so, he shouldn't be afraid of people calling him out!"
