My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2408

Rorita smiled and said, "Then let me eat with you." With that, Rorita sat down.

Tremaine did not say anything and continued to eat his breakfast.

Rorita tried to spark a conversation with Tremaine, "Mr. Tremaine, do you find this breakfast delicious too?"

"Yes," Tremaine replied.

Rorita knew that Tremaine was a man of few words, and she thought that he would not speak after saying "Yes". Unexpectedly, he added, "I have never noticed, however, this is now the best food I have ever eaten in my life."

Rorita did not understand what he meant. She asked, "Have you tried this before?"

Tremaine did not answer her.

Rorita did not continue to pursue the matter. Instead, she smiled and said, "Mr. Tremaine, I was the one who thought that it tasted good, so I let Madam Quartley have a try. I did not expect her to think so highly of it to the extend that she ask the housekeeper to have the Quartley Palace's desserts delivered from this shop in the future."

Tremaine's eyes darkened. He looked towards Rorita and asked, "Were you the one who found out about this?"

"Not quite," Rorita said, "My sister tried them first and said they were delicious. Hence, she send me some and after trying, I agree with her that they are indeed delicious! Then, I gave some to Madam Quartley and one thing led to another, and here we are. It's purely a coincidence."

"Do you know who made these?" Tremaine suddenly asked her.

Rorita did not expect Tremaine to ask such a question. She could not help but say, "I don't know, I did not ask her."

"It would be best if you keep it that way," Tremaine said as he stood up, "I am going to the office now."

Rorita stood up too.

Tremaine thought that Rorita wanted to send him off, so he immediately said, "There's no need for that."

"No, Mr. Tremaine," Rorita's eyes fell on Tremaine's tie. "Your tie is a little messy, let me help you."

She did not wait for Tremaine's permission. Rorita immediately added, "A woman is better at helping a man with his tie. Allow me."

"There is no need for that," Tremaine said lightly, "Let it be."
