Yuliana quickly replied, "Rorita, please don't mention this to Madam Quartley. Zorion has a mental condition. I have to make sure he understands what I'm saying to him otherwise it won't register at all. I'm doing this for his own good. His grandmother simply adores him, so if she knew it would break her heart."
Rorita smiled, "I understand. You and Zorion are married after all, of course you'd be doing this for his own good. I won't mention a word."
Yuliana felt relieved.
Yuliana knew she could trust Rorita. She had gotten to know her quite well since she's been living with them for quite some time now.
She wasn't the type to stir up trouble by talking behind people's backs.
"Yuliana, I overheard you say that someone had a heart condition. May I know who that person is?" Rorita asked gently.
Yuliana became nervous the moment she asked this.
But she didn't hesitate to tell her.
Rorita and Yesseca were rivals in love after all.
She was certain that Rorita did not like Yesseca either.
If she knew that Yesseca didn't have long to live, she would be happy too!
Yuliana then spoke up enthusiastically, "Well, who else but Yesseca! The woman that Tremaine was in love with before! She's finally gotten her retribution in the form of a heart condition! I heard that she has little to no chance of recovering, she doesn't have long to live!"
Rorita was slightly taken aback.
Yuliana continued, "You can relax now Rorita. Yesseca won't come looking for Tremaine anymore!"
Rorita's eyelashes trembled as she asked, "But Yesseca looked fine, how did she end up with a heart condition?"
"Who knows?" Yuliana exclaimed, "Maybe this is her retribution. She knows that Tremaine is already a married man, yet she continues to send her pastries to the Quartley Palace everyday! God certainly won't spare a thought for a woman who goes out of her way to ruin someone else's marriage!"
Yuliana noticed that Rorita didn't look as happy as she had expected, "Rorita, this is good news, you should be happy.
Rorita didn't respond to her.
She couldn't bring herself to cheer up after learning about Yesseca's condition.
But she wasn't sad about it either.
She had never met her after all. On top of that, this was the woman her husband dearly loved. She wasn't sure how to feel about it.
