He angrily asked, "Why did you take so long to tell me about this?! Why did you delay it until it got this bad?! Don't you see how terrible she looks now?!"

His heart shattered into pieces when he saw Yesseca earlier!

She was so thin and pale! She looked like she could be blown away from a small gust of wind!

Matthew ruthlessly cut down Tremaine's brutal accusations, "Tremaine! You think I haven't tried everything?! I'm just as well connected as you are! Telling you then would not have made a difference!"

He was sure of it.

He had exhausted all possible solutions, Tremaine would have ended up the same way.

"I don't believe any of that!" Tremaine bluntly refuted, "She can't die! That's simply impossible! Give me all the information you have on her condition! I'll hire the best doctor for her and find a cure for her illness!"
