My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2540

Yesseca laughed bitterly.

She was really naive back then.

She really thought that she could make it happen.

She never realized that the real world wasn't that simple.

It's not like all the other countries hadn't tried.

Especially those who were born from humble families who then engaged in politics. They were the ones who fought the hardest for equality between the privileged and the underprivileged.

But despite that, there was no one effective solution to the problem.

Every country had the same issue.

There was no way to change it.

This was something people just couldn't overcome.

For example, Tremaine made it so that children from rich and humble families all went to the same schools.

But the rich parents still pushed the teachers to give their children more priority over the others.

They imposed their privileges onto the school.

Nothing had changed.

"Mr. Hawls, I'll be leaving soon. I would like a few words with Montez in private please." Yesseca said this while suppressing her emotions.

Sheldon looked at Montez curiously.

Montez nodded.

"Alright, I'll be over there," Sheldon replied.

After Sheldon walked away, Yesseca knelt down and looked at Montez.

He had grown taller.

She recalled how she had to kneel down just to be on the same eye level with him.

"Montez Yesseca said softly, "I hope this incident with that classmate of yours doesn't leave a bad impression on you. Although your mother isn't with you, it doesn't make you any less of a person."

"Nothing's perfect in the world. Everyone has their shortcomings, there are plenty of people who are going through the same thing as you are."

"They might not have their own mothers because of death or some complication within the family, but that doesn't mean they are worse than others."

"Just like you Montez. Even though you're mother isn't with you, you can still grow up and become an amazingly capable man, just like your father."
