Chapter 595
After Genevieve and Janc reached the manor, both women were stunned by what they saw, which was like a scene straight out of a fairy tale.
“This is gorgeous! Even I feel like having a wedding after seeing this.” Genevieve joked.
When she saw the look of envy on Jane’s face, she rugged at the woman’s arm and said, “You don’t have to be envious. When Coop and you get married, I’ll make sure to plan a wedling for you that’s prettier than this!”
Jane shook her head and pressed her lips together before replying, “There’s no need for that. Nothing else matters as long as I get to be with him.”
Janc loved Cooper
However, she was worried that the man would be made fun of if others know about their relationship
As such, just being able to stay by his side was enough for Jane.
When the wedding crew saw Genevieve, they ushered her to the rehearsal. Meanwhile, Jane headed into the house after waving to Genevieve.
The rehearsal lasted half an hour, and it was also about the time the wedding started. Most of the wedding guests had already arrived at the venue.
After the pre-show performances ended, the host went up the stage with a microphone. Genevieve had also gotten ready and was standing at one side of the stage with her violin.
While she was waiting, her gaze landed on a tall-built man who was sitting on the left side of the room.
He was dressed in a black tuxedo and had an extremely clegant aura surrounding him.
It had been more than half a month since Genevieve blocked Bruce. She did not expect him to finish filming in Frosa so soon and was surprised to see him at t
After the host got off the stage, Genevieve quickly got back her focus and started playing the march-in piece on her violin.
Accompanied by the melodious sound of the violin, the bridle, who was wearing a white gown, walked into the room holding lier father’s arm). After reciting the vows, the bride and the groom exchanged rings and kissed.
Witnessing the blissful scene, the wedding guests started applauding enthusiastically as a form of conveying their best wishes to the couple.
Genevieve wore a pair of laced high heels that day. Iler feet started hurting after she walked for a while, and she guessed that it was likely due to blisters.
As it wasn’t appropriate for her to remove her sliocs in front of all the guests, the woman borc
with the pain and headed back to the house. When she was walking up the stairs, shc twisted her ankle, almost dropping her violin onto the floor.
However, she did not end up falling as a man rushed forward to support her.
“Is your foot hurting?” the man asked Genevieve. However, before the woman could answer, he had already lifted her up and carried her to the lounge on the second floor.
After placing Genevieve on the couch, the man left the room. A while later, he returned with a pair of flats.
Going down on one knee in front of Genevieve, the man removed her shoe before putting a plaster on the blister on her heel.
When his broad and dry palm came into contact with Genevieve’s foot, Genevieve felt slightly itchy and twitched a little.
The woman downcast her eyes and looked at the top of Bruce’s head. She found his behavior inappropriate but did not feel like stopping him.
Feeling conflicted, Genevieve asked, “Do you know that I have blocked you?”
“Mm,” Bruce answered while putting a plaster on the woman’s other foot. “You can block me if it makes you happy. It doesn’t matter to me.”
“I blocked you because I don’t want you to contact me,” Genevieve blurted out.
However, she regretted saying it the moment the words left her mouth.
Bruce applied some slight pressure on the plaster as he replied, “Sure. I’ll avoid the places you go to next time so that you won’t have to see me.”
Genevieve opened her mouth, wanting to speak, but no words came out. Feeling slightly frustrated, she asked, “Aren’t you angry?”
“No. It’s your right to decide who you want to see.”
