Chapter 120
“Daddy, do you think Mommy looks pretty?” asked Felix.
Bradley replied coldly, “She’s okay.”
Felix widened his eyes and huffed. “No, Mommy, try something else. Daddy said it doesn’t look good!”
For one whole hour, Esther kept trying on the clothes Felix chose. From dresses to formal gowns to everyday styles, each different outfit gave Esther a different look.
Looking at Esther, who constantly changed clothes, Bradley could not help but tell the manager beside him, “Send all the clothes she just tried to Primus Mansion.”
“Yes, sir,” replied the manager.
The sales assistants could not contain their excitement. They had just hit the jackpot with such a big customer, and their bonuses for this month would definitely be substantial.
After trying on clothes for an hour, Esther was exhausted. She looked at Bradley and softly called out, “Darling, do I really not look good in all of them?”
The word “darling” was like a kitty clawing gently at Bradley’s heart.
It felt ticklish and tingling. An unfamiliar feeling of affection quietly took root and sprouted in Bradley’s heart. “Just this one.”
Bradley looked at the dress Esther was wearing. It was a light blue one that seemed to embody the depths of the sea. Esther looked like a mermaid who silently swam from the deep sea to his side.
“Daddy, we still need to buy Mommy bags, shoes, jewelry…”
Felix held Bradley’s hand, prompting Bradley to pick him up.
Bradley’s lukewarm tone leaked affection as he told Esther, “Let’s go. We’ll get other things.”
Esther shook her head and waved her hands in fear. “I don’t want to shop anymore.”
Felix hugged Esther’s arm and acted cute. “Mommy, come on! It’s Daddy’s duty to dress you up beautifully!”
“Let’s go.” Bradley took Esther and Felix as they swept through the mall.
Such extravagance naturally brought smiles to the sales assistants in various stores. Some of the sales assistants posted the news of Bradley bringing Esther to the mall on their social media accounts, prompting some of Liliane’s friends to immediately send her messages upon seeing the news.
[Liliane, Mr. Warner’s really doting on you! I heard from the sales assistant that you guys. bought out the entire mall today.]
[Liliane, what did Mr. Warner buy for you? Show us, let us see and broaden our horizons.}
When Liliane received the first message, she went to ask a familiar sales assistant about what had happened instantly. Only then did she find out that Bradley and Felix were on a shopping spree with Esther at the mall.
Even though none of Liliane’s rich heiresses and socialite friends knew the truth, their words. felt like sharp knives that pierced her heart.
