My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 130

Chapter 130

Naturally, Bradley did not suspect that the doctor would joke about such a serious condition. His thin lips parted in indifference as he said, “Prepare a copy of her medical records for me.”

Leah looked at Wilson with worried eyes. Wilson calmly exchanged a reassuring look with her and said in a gentle voice, “Alright.”

The three of them left the doctor’s office, and Bradley went straight to Liliane’s hospital room.

Liliane looked at Bradley with a mix of genuine and feigned emotions on her face as she said, Brad, can I be discharged? I still want to meet the wedding dress designer, Anna.”

“You don’t need to worry about the wedding dress,” replied Bradley.

There was no trace of pity or concern in Bradley’s expression. If Clark and the psychologist, Xara, were present, they would immediately recognize the double standards in Bradley’s attitude toward Esther and Liliane’s conditions.

Liliane’s heart sank uncontrollably. She even wanted to question why Bradley had stood her at noon today. Why were he and Felix with Esther? However, everything ultimately condensed into one sentence.

“Brad, I can’t take care of Felix with my current condition. I guess I’ll have to trouble Clark to take care of him,” said Liliane. This was the result of her discussion with Leah.

If she kept Felix by her side every day, not only would she be exhausted, but she also feared that she would break down emotionally and fail to maintain her facade in front of Felix.

“You don’t need to worry about Felix,” Bradley said coldly and distantly. “Focus on recovering.

”

“Okay.” Liliane’s eyes reddened instantly when she thought about her plans over the years. “Brad, why don’t… we just cancel our wedding?”

past five

Liliane wanted to retreat in order to advance, but she was afraid that if she truly retreated, Bradley would agree to it. Her heart felt as if it were soaked in bitter medicine, as it was sore and bitter.

“Focus on recovering. I’ll consult other specialists with your medical records,” Bradley said coldly.

Upon hearing Bradley’s words, Liliane’s heart leaped to her throat. She looked at Leah with worry, and Leah quickly spoke up. “Liliane, Bradley’s still waiting for you to recover and be his most beautiful bride.”

“Mom…” Liliane silently shed tears.

Bradley took Liliane’s medical records from Wilson and said coldly, “Focus on recovering. I’ll

get specialists to consult on your case.”

“Anstey, send Bradley off,” instructed Leah.

Billy hurriedly caught up with Bradley, and together they arrived at the elevator outside the hospital room. With Liliane’s three-month prognosis weighing on his mind, Billy pleaded as a father, “Mr. Warner, I beg you to save my daughter.”

Bradley coldly and restrainedly replied, “I’m not a doctor.”
