After the preparations were complete, Melinda left Felix’s room. 

Bradley looked at the ready Felix, reached out to lift him into the bathtub, and asked, “Felix, who used to 

bathe you before?” 

With an innocent expression, Felix replied, “Grandpaw Clark!” 

“Didn’t your Mommy ever bathe you?” asked Bradley. 

Understanding that Bradley was referring to Liliane as “Mommy” instead of Esther, Felix sat in the foamy bathwater and looked at Bradley seriously. He corrected him, saying, “Daddy, my Mommy is not Liliane. 

It’s Esther!” 

Bradley chuckled, wondering if Felix had grown fond of being Esther’s son. “So, Liliane never bathed you?” 

Felix shook his head and said, “Nope. She said I’m a boy, and she’s a girl, so she can’t bathe me ” 

Furrowing his brows slightly, Bradley couldn’t help but compare Esther to Liliane at that moment. It seemed that, in an instant, he could sense that Esther was more like a mother figure. It was no wonder Felix called her his Mommy. 

“If time allows, I’ll bathe you from now on,” said Bradley, 

With a small rubber duck in his hand, Felix made it squeak. “Daddy, when will you find Pixie?” 

Felix believed that Esther would be really happy if she saw Pixie! 

“Pixie has been adopted and taken abroad. I’m currently having people search for her whereabouts,” Bradley explained, treating Felix as an equal. “Once we find Pixie, we’ll bring her back to the country ” 

When Pixie returned, it would be the right time to reveal the truth to Esther Bradley believed that even if Esther couldn’t fully accept it, her love for Pixie would give her the strength to endure.
