My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 191

Chapter 191

Leah’s voice turned cold as she interrupted Liliane’s proposal, “No, I will never allow Esther to tarnish your wedding.”

“Mom,” Liliane sweetly coaxed.

Leah’s tone remained cold as she continued. “There’s no room for discussion on this matter.”

A cold smirk curved on Bradley’s lips, his deep gaze filled with scorn and mockery. He spoke with icy words. “Liliane, if that’s your wish, I will allow Esther to be present at the wedding.” Liliane’s joy was evident as her smile bloomed. “That’s great!”

She wanted Esther to be there at her wedding with Bradley. She wanted Esther to know that no matter what schemes or plots she used, Bradley would always belong to her-Liliane.

Brendan looked at Liliane for a moment and then turned to Leah, speaking in a low voice, Regardless of your awareness of Dr. Birch’s case, you are still involved. I suggest you stay at the hospital and let the wedding planning company handle the rest.”

“Okay,” Liliane readily agreed but hesitated when she thought of the wedding dress. She voiced her concerns. “But don’t I need to personally try on the dress to get the right measurements?”

“No need,” Bradley replied nonchalantly. “The wedding planning company will find a model with a similar figure to yours to try on the dress for you.”

“But…” Liliane pouted in dissatisfaction. “This is the wedding dress I’m going to wear at my wedding. I don’t want someone else to wear it! Can’t the designer bring the dress to the hospital for me to try it on myself and then make the necessary adjustments?”

Leah, skilled at reading expressions, sensed Bradley’s displeasure. Taking the initiative, she said, “Liliane, your priority now is to recover. Let’s follow Mr. Warner’s suggestion regarding the wedding dress.”

“Mom!” Liliane couldn’t believe it. Leah was actually going along with Bradley’s idea.

Leah firmly held Liliane’s hand and said in a cold voice, “Liliane, if the wedding dress designer, Anna, doesn’t want to sell the dress to you because it’s too troublesome, what will you do? Will you settle for another dress?”

“No!” Liliane thought that she had already seen the most beautiful wedding dress. She did not want to wear any other ordinary dresses. She wanted to wear the best dress and become the most beautiful bride.

“Listen to Mr. Warner. If your health allows it by then, we can reconsider later.”

Reluctantly, Liliane agreed.

Bradley looked at the despicable mother and daughter in front of him, a trace of disgust

rippling in his deep eyes. Esther was Billy’s illegitimate daughter. If anyone was to be blamed,

it should be directed at Billy. Why did Leah and Liliane treat Esther this way?

To say that the mother and daughter had no involvement in Wilson taking Esther’s heart would be the most foolish joke in the world.
