Liliane was caught off guard by Bradley’s aggressive questioning in front of all the wedding guests. Momentarily flustered, she quickly regained her composure and started strategizing. After all, Felix was Bradley’s son, and even if a DNA paternity test were conducted now, the result would remain the same. 

A sense of self-blame washed over Liliane. She had pretended to be a good mother for so many years. Why did she have to be so reckless at such a crucial moment? 

“Brad, of course Felix is your son. If you don’t believe it, we can do a DNA paternity test right now.” 

Bradley angrily threw a DNA paternity test report at Liliane’s face and sneered. “Liliane, with your congenital heart condition, how did you give birth to Felix?” 

Liliane hadn’t expected that Bradley had secretly conducted a DNA test without her knowledge! Did he already know that Felix wasn’t her son? Why hadn’t he arranged a private meeting between Felix and her after the bone marrow transplant?

“Brad, Felix… Felix is actually a child I had through surrogacy.” Liliane bit her lip and portrayed herself as a pitiful victim as tears slowly streamed down her cheeks. 

“I didn’t know the surrogacy company would-” 

With a cold and questioning gaze, Bradley looked at Liliane, who was spewing lies. “Liliane, have you thought this through? Surrogacy is illegal in our country. By confessing so openly in front of a global audience, both you and the person who used my bloodline will face legal consequences. 

Liliane glanced at the camera aimed at her and suddenly felt a surge of desolation. At that moment, she finally understood why Bradley wanted the wedding to be broadcast live. He had planned from the beginning to expose her in front of everyone.
