It seemed to everyone that Bradley had gone mad, forcing Esther to get pregnant at this time without considering her feelings. 

Clark calmly looked at Billy and Jasper before speaking softly, “Mr. Warner is currently unable to accept the situation. Give him some more time, and I believe he will eventually move on from the pain of losing his son.” 

“But don’t Bradley and Esther already have another daughter named Pixie? Wasn’t she adopted by someone else? Instead of doing everything possible to find Pixie, Bradley wants to have a child with Esther now? He can’t be ignorant enough to want another Felix, can he?” 

Clark remained silent, and Jasper didn’t know what to say either. He took a sip of his coffee and spoke slowly. “Clark, please pass on a message to Esther. Tell her that we’re deeply concerned about her and ask her to take good care of herself. Let her know that I will continue to help her find Pixie and that she must prioritize her well-being.” 

Clark agreed, saying, “Okay.” 

Billy wanted to speak but couldn’t find the right words. From his perspective, he sincerely hoped that Bradley would show mercy and spare Esther. 

“You don’t need to worry. I’ll be there with Esther, and she shouldn’t be in immediate danger for now.” 

After Clark left, Billy muttered, “Is there really no other way to handle Bradley’s outrageous behavior?” 

“Possible solutions are being considered. The fact that Bradley wants to have a child with Esther indicates that her personal safety is at least ensured during this period. As for other matters, we can take our time.” 

Billy pleaded earnestly, “Mr. Searle, please help Esther.” 

Jasper casually asked Billy, seemingly disinterested, “I heard that Esther isn’t your biological daughter.” 

Billy didn’t hide Esther’s background and explained calmly, “Esther is indeed my adopted daughter. That’s why I neglected her in the past, assuming Liliane was my biological daughter. Only later did I find out that she isn’t. Mr. Searle, you have no idea what a joke my life has become.” 

A faint hint of surprise appeared on Jasper’s handsome face. 

Billy continued. “Mr. Searle, do you happen to know any reliable lawyers? Could you recommend one to me?” 

“Are you planning to help Esther against Bradley in a divorce lawsuit?” 

Billy felt extremely embarrassed but explained helplessly, “No, it’s just that I want to reclaim everything that rightfully belongs to me. I thought Liliane was my daughter, so I transferred my assets to her as a wedding gift. Now that she isn’t my daughter, I see no reason to give away everything I have.” 

“I see.” Jasper pondered for a moment. “Alright, I’ll introduce you to a suitable lawyer. But 

I’m curious about Esther’s background.” 

“I’m not entirely sure.” Billy speculated, “I thought Esther’s parents didn’t have any other trustworthy relatives. If there were, Faye wouldn’t have entrusted Esther to me.”
