Billy, suppressing his anger, spoke in a murderous tone to Jasper. “Mr. Searle, I can do it. Leah schemed against me in the past, and she even killed my parents. How can I show mercy to the daughter of my enemy? And let me tell you, Leah and Shane are shameless. They even tried to force a heart transplant from Esther to Liliane. Are they even human?” 

Jasper glanced at his watch, speaking warmly. “If you’ve made up your mind, I’ll help you. I have other commitments, so I’ll leave now. Please inform me of any updates from Esther’s side. I may not be of much help, but I want to do my part for her.” 

“Thank you, Mr. Searle,” Billy sincerely expressed his gratitude. 

Billy truly appreciated Jasper’s unwavering support for Esther. While everyone else distanced themselves from her, Jasper remained by her side, and this precious friendship touched him deeply. 

“Esther is my friend, always.” 

The lawyer recommended by Jasper went directly to the court with Billy’s appointment after understanding the relationships between Billy, Leah, Shane, and Liliane. 

When Liliane received the subpoena, she was momentarily stunned.

Liliane’s heart sank, and she was about to speak when her phone made a beep sound. 

“One moment, please.” 

She picked up her phone, opened the message, and saw it was from a number she had memorized.
