Chapter 345
Upon hearing Bradley’s question, Oliver chuckled lightly, like a gentle breeze in the mountains.
Bradley became even more convinced that Oliver had hidden Esther. He had no idea when Esther had formed a connection with the Quills. Why was Jasper collaborating with Oliver in this elaborate charade of Esther’s death?
Bradley knew he wanted Esther to return to him obediently despite his suspicions.
“Mr. Warner, call me again when you’ve calmed down,” Oliver decisively said before hanging
Bradley understood what Oliver meant. He had been privileged since birth, always in the spotlight and accustomed to getting his way. His life had been smooth sailing, never having to submit or admit defeat.
Bradley looked at his phone screen as the call had abruptly ended. This time, he didn’t call back but placed the phone down and coldly addressed the others in the office, “Bring me all the project files.”
The executives replied, “Yes, Mr. Warner.”
Soon after, the project files were handed to Bradley. The news of Esther’s death had consumed his thoughts, but the phone call to Oliver had reignited his desire for victory. From that call, Bradley deduced that Esther was safe and alive.
Regardless of Oliver and Esther’s relationship, if Oliver intended to challenge him and seek revenge for Esther, Bradley would face the challenge head-on. No one could take Esther away from him!
Oliver was pressuring him based on the Quills’ long-standing influence, but Bradley would bear that pressure alone. Moreover, he would use it as motivation.
Although Oliver had the upper hand now, Bradley would rise to the top someday and acquire the Quills. Since Esther dared to leave, he would make her obediently return to his side.
“All of you, leave.”
Bradley looked at the pile of files in front of him. Taking one, he started working. His mind was focused on one goal-to become stronger than ever before, strong enough to be the world’s number one.
