My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 395

Chapter 395

Anna agreed wholeheartedly. “Well said, Esther. Please refine these designs when you have the time. I’ll take them to the company this afternoon. Once you finish drawing the designs, simply take photos and send them to me. I’ll handle all the coordination and arrangements

here.”

“Okay.”

Esther carefully adjusted the areas of the designs that needed coloring and refinement. Event though Anna had already been amazed by the drafts, she was still pleasantly surprised by the refined ones.

“Esther, keep going. I’m waiting for your good news!” Anna encouraged her.

In the afternoon, Esther finished drawing each design and promptly sent the photos to Anna.

Having spent the entire afternoon in the studio, Esther stretched and went to the garden.

Felix and Sunshine were considerate and well-behaved. They understood that Esther was busy and refrained from disturbing her, playing in the playground instead.

“Mommy, are you tired?” Sunshine held Esther’s hand, guiding her to a nearby chair. She balled up her little fists and gently pounded Esther’s shoulders.

Felix rushed over, eager for attention, and started massaging her shoulders, too.

“Mommy, does it feel good?” Sunshine asked softly.

Esther blissfully squinted and said, “Wonderful.”

While the three of them were playfully messing around, a maid approached with Esther’s phone.

“Ms. Quill, your phone’s ringing.”

Esther took the phone and saw that the caller was Tanya. She cleared her throat and asked with a slightly cold tone, “Ms. Hill, is there a problem?”

“No.” Despite being a divorce lawyer, Tanya found Bradley’s behavior bewildering. “Ms. Quill, I called to inform you that your divorce case has been submitted to the court. I’ll update you once they set a date for the hearing.”

Esther felt happy. Initially, she hesitated, fearing there would be no chance for reconciliation. with Bradley. Now, she looked forward to completely severing ties with him.

“Thank you for your hard work, Ms. Hill.”

Tanya smiled gently, “Ms. Quill, I’m a lawyer, and this is my job. But it’s different for you- you have to face your own life and its challenges.”

“Thank you.” Esther felt long-lost warmth from the lawyer’s kindness that trickled like a gentle stream. “I’m doing well now.”

“I’ll leave you be then, Ms. Quill. If you need special compensation, please contact me anytime.

“Okay.”

After ending the call, Esther checked her inbox. While there were negative comments, there were also countless kind and supportive words.

She realized she had become strong enough to face all this with composure.
