Esther wasn’t alone, however. She had Felix by her side, someone she cared deeply for. 

With Felix, she had a vulnerable spot. 

Felix and Pixie were her children, and she couldn’t put one child in danger to protect the other. 

“I’ll infiltrate the enemy’s territory as a customer, no worries,” Benz said as he stepped out of the car. He patted the car’s roof, reassuring Anna and Esther, “Keep your distance from here to avoid attracting attention. And don’t worry about me. They won’t dare to harm me.” 

With those words, Benz confidently walked into the church hospital. 

Anna parked the car about a kilometer away. “Esther, trust Benz. He’s reliable.” 

Esther’s grip on her phone tightened, and her face drained of color. “Anna, will calling the police help?” 

Anna thought about it and replied hesitantly, “Esther, I don’t know. This is a foreign country, and things are different from our home country. What I mean is, if we dare to take a chance, we can contact the police officer who helped us with the DNA test today. He seemed to have some sense of justice.” 

Anna’s words brought back memories of the police officer a tall, stout man with a reliable air, sporting a thick beard on his face. 

If Maria Church was indeed involved in organ trafficking, it indicated that the church might have attracted some greedy individuals. 

“Should we give it a try?” Esther asked. 

Anna took out her phone and found the police officer’s number before she silently exited the 

contact list. 

“Let’s forget it. What if we contact him, and he refuses to help us and becomes involved with. the other side? What would we do then?” 

Esther nodded. It was true that there was such a possibility. 

Minutes ticked away, and the atmosphere inside the car became extremely heavy. Esther and Anna did not dare to break the solemn mood by speaking. 

Suddenly, the sound of a car horn echoed. 

Anna and Esther looked toward a garbage truck on the road.
