Chapter 457 

The bodyguards hurried forward, trying to halt Bradley’s attack on Esther. But Bradley had a firm grip on Esther’s throat, using her as a shield. 

Worried about Esther’s safety, the bodyguards hesitated. They were afraid of making things 

worse. 

Unexpectedly, when Bradley seized her throat, Esther burst into defiant laughter. 

“Bradley, is violence all you know?” 

Her words seemed to provoke Bradley, and he tightened his grip. 

The elevator “dinged,” and Felix, dressed in yellow duck-printed pajamas, spotted Bradley choking Esther from a distance. He dashed like a cannonball, fiercely kicking and hitting Bradley. 

“Let Mommy go!” 

Hearing Felix’s voice, Bradley instinctively released Esther and grabbed Felix’s collar. He asked, “You’re Felix?” 

Esther hadn’t anticipated Bradley and Felix would meet like that. 

“Bradley, can’t you see how upset Felix is?” 

Felix’s face turned red, and he glared at Bradley. “You can’t bully Mommy!” 

“Brat!” Bradley’s mocking gaze turned to Esther. “Impressive, Esther. Teaching my son to fake death…” 

“Mean Daddy, put me down!” 

Bradley smacked Felix’s buttocks hard right in front of Esther. 

Felix protested, holding his buttocks. “Mean Daddy, I don’t like you!” 

Bradley moved toward Esther, but the bodyguards stepped between them. Not wanting more trouble, he scooped up Felix and entered his sports car. 

“Felix, fasten your seatbelt properly,” Bradley said as she threw Felix into the car’s back seat. His head hit the leather seat, and he was a little disoriented. 

After closing the car door, Bradley gripped the steering wheel and told Esther arrogantly,” Esther, if you want to see your son, you know what you need to do.” 

Felix was smart, so he immediately sensed Bradley’s underlying threat in his words. He shouted to Esther, “Mommy, don’t be threatened by Mean Daddy. I’ll be back!” 

However, Felix’s voice was completely drowned out by the roar of the car engine. 

Felix glanced at Bradley, who was driving with great focus, and jumped out of the speeding 

car. Only God knew from where he mustered the courage to do that. 

Everything happened so quickly that Esther could not even shout to stop Felix. 

Felix landed on the ground with a thud.
