Chapter 503
Without Clark’s guidance, the servants appeared disorganized and chaotic. The servants’ whispered conversations reached Bradley’s ears like a sudden thunderclap.
Suddenly, he appeared as if from nowhere, swiftly snatching a phone from one of the maids. His gaze was sharp, fixed intently on the screen, which displayed images of Jasper and Esther taken at Rose Park.
These photos were captured with a professional camera. Jasper and Esther were already very attractive, but these images made them seem even more convincing than some celebrity couples in the entertainment industry.
As Bradley scrolled through the photos, his handsome face grew darker.
None of the servants had expected Bradley to stumble upon their idle chatter. Although he said. nothing, his alarming expression was enough to make the entire household tremble, as the fear of facing his anger was evident.
“Who told you this was a proposal? As long as I haven’t divorced Esther, she’s still legally my wife…”
The maid from whom Bradley had taken the phone found unexpected courage and smiled coldly as she reminded him, “Mr. Warner, the judge has already finalized your divorce!”
“You! Leave Warner Manor immediately!”
Upon hearing that, the maid didn’t hesitate. She removed her apron and tossed it onto the sofa. “Mr. Warner, according to labor laws, if you want to terminate my employment, you must provide the corresponding-”
“I’ll pay!” Bradley’s anger was evident.
The servants had actually enjoyed working at Warner Manor. Under Clark’s management, they had clear shifts and reasonable schedules. Holidays were celebrated with gifts, and they received double pay at year’s end.
Despite having an unpredictable employer like Bradley, they had managed to endure. However, the servants were no longer willing to endure in silence after Clark’s departure.
“Mr. Warner, we stayed at Warner Manor for Mr. Warner Sr. and Mr. Tonks, not for you!”
“During Mr. Warner Sr.’s time, Warner Manor was nothing like this!”
“Exactly. If it hadn’t been for your tumultuous romantic entanglements, would Madam have endured a false accusation and five years of imprisonment?”
“Madam must have been truly unfortunate to fall in love with a man like you. You never deserved her love.”
“Mr. Searle treats Madam so admirably. She deserves to be with a man like him!”
Bradley’s headache grew worse as the servants accused him persistently. He clenched his teeth and asked, “Do you all wish to depart as well?”
