Chapter 504
The servants rushed into the dressing room, removing their uniforms without a second thought.
Some watched with envy. They had all come to work, but who would willingly serve this cold and irritable man every day?
They all wanted to leave, enticed by the promise of substantial compensation.
Most of the staff had already left except for a few servants who struggled to let go of the generous treatment they received at Warner Manor and had no other options.
Bradley sat beneath a dazzling crystal chandelier, captivated by pictures of Esther and Jasper, his eyes revealing a deep longing. Esther looked stunning in every photo, her jet-black hair flowing gently, her lively eyes sparkling like a galaxy of stars.
Bradley’s anger flared when he saw the nine roses of different colors in Esther’s hands, making it hard to breathe.

upper ward.
Everyone in the hospital watched him from their windows as if he were a trapped animal.
Esther caught wind of Bradley’s cry and frowned. She picked up her phone and searched for Kevin’s number.
“Kevin, it’s me. Bradley is in the hospital garden. Please take him away before he gets even more upset!”
Esther looked down at Bradley in the garden below. A delicate, lingering ache filled her heart. “Mommy, is Daddy angry?” Felix climbed down from the hospital bed, his chubby face filled. with concern.
“No,” Esther replied, bitterness in her voice. She hugged Felix and kissed his forehead. “He’s just struggling to adapt.”
Felix tilted his head, innocence in his eyes. “Adapt to what?”
“To the kite in his hands suddenly breaking free and soaring into a wider sky.”
“But Mommy, kites belong in the sky, right?”
“Yes!” Esther lovingly brushed her forehead against Felix’s, her eyes filled with affection.” Kites belong in the sky, and Felix belongs with Mommy!”
Felix gently held Esther’s face and softly said, “Mommy, I will always be your most cherished son!”
Esther then played games with Felix to ease the impact of Bradley’s earlier outburst.
