My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley) novel Chapter 509

Chapter 509

Jasper and Bradley locked eyes, and Jasper smiled mockingly. He spoke quietly, his tone tinged with amusement. “Bradley, remember, Esther’s not your wife anymore. She may marry anyone, but she’ll never be yours again.”

Bradley’s long-suppressed anger flared up. A wicked gleam flickered in his eyes as he replied harshly, sending chills through those listening. “Jasper, I dare you to marry Esther!”

Jasper replied calmly, “Bradley, when I marry Esther, you’ll receive an invitation.”

Kevin stepped out of the car, trying to calm Bradley while issuing a warning. “Brad, remember, we’re at an airport, surrounded by people. Do you want this to go viral on social media?”

Bradley released his grip on Jasper’s collar. His eyes turned cold as he warned grimly, “Jasper,

you marry Esther, I’ll kill you!”

if

“Bradley, feel free to try. You’ll end up in prison even with the Warner Group’s legal team. If my sacrifice can make Esther happy, I’ll gladly do it.”

Kevin attempted to mediate, saying, “Come on. This is unnecessary.”

Bradley and Jasper yelled in unison, “Get lost!”

Kevin widened his eyes, shrugged helplessly, and mumbled, “Carry on, then.”

Jasper adjusted his collar, his voice clear. “Bradley, here’s some advice. Reflect on why Esther left you suddenly.”

Bradley sneered. “That’s between me and my wife. Mind your business.”

“Wife?” Jasper scoffed. “Bradley, can you honestly say you treated Esther as your wife, even for a day?”

With that, he walked to his car and added kindly, “Bradley, look up now. You might see Esther’s plane flying overhead.”

As if on cue, a small plane glided overhead.

Bradley’s gaze followed it as he forcefully entered the airport.

Kevin, battling a growing headache, hurried to catch up with the intoxicated Bradley.

Airport staff surrounded Bradley. “Sir, you can’t enter!”

Worried about the situation escalating, Kevin positioned himself between Bradley and the staff. “I apologize. He’s had too much to drink. I’ll escort him away.”

Kevin extended his hand, but Bradley remained still, unyielding. “Bradley, please stop. The airport will call the police. Do you want to get arrested for causing a scene?”

Bradley didn’t respond to Kevin’s plea.

Kevin chuckled in frustration, accepting the situation. “Fine, you’re in charge. My words seem to fall on deaf ears. Go on with your outburst.”

Kevin understood why Esther urgently left with Felix. If he were in her shoes, he’d do the

same. As for Bradley, a constant source of frustration, why deal with him if you could avoid it?
