Chapter 555
In a private hospital abroad.
Liliane had just completed a series of plastic surgeries. After over ten procedures, her previously disfigured face had been completely restored.
The old Liliane was considered a beautiful woman at best. However, the current Liliane had become an absolute beauty.
All the distinct features that belonged to Liliane had disappeared. Her previously tanned skin had transformed into porcelain fairness and was as supple as a baby’s. Countless sessions of skin brightening had transformed her entirely.
Liliane gazed into the mirror, feeling bewildered. When Liam had disfigured her, she believed she was in a living nightmare. But now, she felt like she had been given a new lease on life.
Her face was now stunning, beyond anything she had ever imagined. Every aspect of her facial features, even the shape of her ears, had been perfected.
In all honesty, if Liliane’s mother were to see her at that moment, she wouldn’t even recognize Liliane as the striking woman standing before her.
“Ms. Pendleton.”
Liliane looked at the nurse and asked hesitantly, “Is there something you need?”
Even though the nurse had long gotten used to Liliane’s post-surgery appearance, she could not help but be amazed by the plastic surgeon’s skills every time she saw her. His hands were magic, transforming a completely disfigured woman into this gorgeous one right before her.
“Here’s your delivery.”
Liliane thanked her softly and took the package, using scissors to open it and pull out its contents.
She sat by the window, flipping through the pages one by one. When she read the document’s content, she could not help but giggle.
Bradley had liver cancer!
This was truly divine justice!
Just the thought of how Bradley had treated her during their wedding made her clench her teeth in anger.
She read through the document page by page. Upon discovering that the Quills of Capitus had recognized Esther, her eyes turned red with anger. She grabbed a vase from the side and slammed it onto the floor.
Flowers, water, and shattered pieces of the vase scattered.
‘Esther! You’re really fortunate! Even without the Ansteys, you actually have the support of the Quills! Why? On what grounds?!’ she thought.
A pleasant cell phone ringtone interrupted Liliane’s thoughts.
She quickly adjusted her mood and picked up her phone, calling out sweetly, “Boss.”
“Did you see the document?”
“Yes.”
“Liliane, are you ready to return to the country and face your enemies again?”
