The sight of Celena kneeling for him made Liam feel a sense of heartache. Why was she always so soft-hearted, so kind? Could she still not see that the Stones never treated her as a family?

"Celena, stand up! You don't have to plead to them! Don't beg them on your knees for me!"

Liam held out his hand, wanting to help Celena up from the ground.

Celena then snatched Jovie from Liam's arms while she was all worked up. Her eyes were bloodshot and tears streaming down her cheeks.

She had a meltdown as she buried her head in Jovie's shoulder. Then, she shouted in pain, "Liam, Jovie is my daughter! I don't need you to do anything for us. As you know, there's not much affection between us. I'm grateful that you were able to return that day. I'm thankful for everything that you have done for Jovie and me! But, the whole reason that we have to endure all this is you! It's all you!"

At that point, Celena started to bawl. The hardships of the past seven years and all the pent-up pressure since returning to the Stone family finally boiled over.
