Samara did not avoid Celena’s gaze at all. She did not conceal the disdainful and loathsome sentiments she had for Celena either.
She calmly put her glass down, took a napkin, and slowly wiped the red wine off her delicate hands.
“Celena, you didn't think that I was truly apologizing to you and wanting to reconcile with you, did you? Do you deserve that? Listen up, being good friends or whatever, it was all an act. I will never be good friends with you! I can't believe you had the guts to come with that loser, Liam. The way you made a fool of yourself truly amused me."
Samara finished wiping both her hands while she said that. Then, she threw the napkin at Celena’s face. She let out a mocking laugh and continued, “Celena, you've given me a good laugh!
"It was truly a shame that I didn’t get to personally witness the moment you were banished from the Stone family seven years ago! I’m back now, and you have also been accepted by the Stone family again. How can I not come and have a look for myself just how shitty your life is?
“But I have to say, I’m relieved to see that your life is shitty now. After all, I would feel unsettled if you’re living a good life. A bitch like you should be living a downtrodden life like the one you're having now.”
Celena listened to Samara’s harsh insults while her face was covered with a mixture of red wine and tears. The huge difference between reality and her expectations made her so upset that she wanted to let out a big cry. Her heart was aching so very badly.
Just a moment ago, she was still on cloud nine because of her rekindled friendship. However, in the next moment, she was down in the dumps.
Samara never planned to forgive her. This so-called gathering was all just to humiliate her.
“That’s right. Quickly kneel and apologize! Celena, you bitch! Would I have been a disappointment to my parents back then if it wasn't for you? It was all your fault!”
“Hmph! The boy I liked for a long time in high school rejected me all because of Celena.
I was even scolded by him, who was the man of my dreams! I have never been that embarrassed in my life. Whenever I think of that, I would desperately want to tear this bitch to pieces!”
One of the women who looked ordinary and a plump figure suddenly grabbed her wine glass and strode over to Celena. She splashed her red wine on Celena’s face and started cursing at her.
