If he killed her, he wouldn't be able to find a woman that he liked so much.
He could only vent all his anger on Patrick.
Alice's eyes were slightly sore as she drove, and said, "you promised me that will no longer affect innocent people, and only then I will be willing to stay by your side."
"I didn't agree!" William's voice almost wanted to shatter her eardrums.
The car sped past on the empty road.
Alice recalled, yes, he had never personally agreed to it, but she had silently agreed to it, no?
"Even if I agree, is Patrick an innocent person? What a joke!" William roared at her, "Or could it be, you staying by my side is entirely for Patrick?"
"Otherwise, what other reason could there be?" Alice remembered the tone he used when he said that she was superficial and could not help but sneer, "Aren't you clear about it? Otherwise, you would not have kept it a secret from me until now."
"Alice! You f * eking dare to say it again!" William roared at the top of his lungs.
He had said these words earlier in the day, but she had said that he wouldn't be able to accompany her.
"You can listen to it a few times." Alice said coldly, "William, you are an extremely pretentious person. I stayed by your side only because of Patrick, and since you still won't let him go, there is no need for me to stay."
"Alice!"
William roared crazily, he seemed to have gone completely crazy.
Alice continued to drive as she looked at the rearview mirror.
Her heart sank.
He never thought that William would catch up so quickly.
"Alice! Stop the car right now! Otherwise, if I catch you, I'll break both your legs! " William shouted at her through the phone, his tone filled with craziness.
Alice smiled bitterly, "Then come."
With that, Alice stepped on the gas pedal and flew forward to increase the distance.
"Slow down, are you crazy?" William roared out wildly.
She also sped up for him.
"William, you always make me remember this and that, but today, I want to remember one sentence as well." Alice said bitterly, "If I were crazy, you would have forced me to do this!"
She had changed her opinion of him.
She was touched. She thought about their future. She even wanted to ask him not to marry, because her heart had already wavered
But she never thought that he would do such a thing behind her back. He wanted Patrick to die here.
How could he do that?
Did he really love her? How could he be so conceited as to think that she would definitely follow his chess game.
"Alice!" William roared at her.
"William, is everyone a puppet in your eyes? Can I let you play around with me? I'm not your pawn. I have my own thoughts."
After Alice finished speaking, she hung up.
William called again.
This time, she didn't pick up the phone again. Instead, she pressed on the gas pedal and charged forward.
She could not allow Patrick to suffer a crushing defeat because of her, she had to save Patrick!
Alice almost wanted to throttle him and push him down. She drove like a madman and almost crashed into a tree a few times.
William continuously called the number.
She didn't pick it up. She looked in the rearview mirror and suddenly saw the lights chasing her getting further and further away
Did William give up the chase?
Alice sprinted forward for a distance, but she could no longer see any light in the rearview mirror, so she slowly slowed down.
A message came into his phone. It was from William -
[I'm not f * * king chasing after you anymore! Slow down! If you dare lose even a single hair on your head, I will chop Patrick into pieces and feed him to the dogs!]
Alice looked at the message and felt a stab in her heart.
He was worried about her safety.
He would rather have her leave than pursue him.
He gave up chasing her.
But if he really cared about her, why did he still do such a thing? She was obviously no longer in contact with Patrick, and there was no way she could contact him at all, so why did he still do such a thing?
Alice pulled her phone back, preventing herself from thinking anymore, and continued to drive.
Right now, all she had to do was make sure that the signing ceremony wouldn't be successful.
After a long while, Doris called. She picked up the phone and continued to drive.
" I can't. My husband and I ran to the Miller Group and then to the Port of Heaven. The security guards stopped me from entering, no matter what, it's useless." Doris sighed.
Hearing that, Alice became anxious, "Didn't you get the security to inform us? Didn't you explain the reason clearly? "
Immediately after,Alice heard Doris’ s husband's weak voice," she said a few words but they were not allowed to come in, then she attacked, and in the end they called the police, we are currently in Police station."
"Are you guys okay?"
Alice asked nervously.
"It's nothing, it's just a small matter. I just have to sit here until tomorrow afternoon before I can leave. I'm afraid I won't be able to help you." Doris said apologetically.
"There's nothing we can do about it. You all should worry about it."
"Then what about Prince Miller?"
"I'm about to enter San Francisco now. Let's see if I can make it." Fortunately she did not place all her bets on Doris, so she asked again, "Oh right, where did they sign the contract at?"
"It's in the conference room of the Miller Building. Right now, the show is already in progress, and they are strictly guarding against outsiders, which is why we are blocked outside."Doris said helplessly.
"I know, I'll do as I see fit."
